Knotty Binds was created to help others with their journey into kink and intimacy. There are ample influencers and educators in both rope bondage and intimacy; I thank you for letting me contribute to that. 

Hi, I’m Nick! I have a BA in Psychology with an emphasis on Pre-Clinical Psychology and am currently enduring the challenging but wonderful educational path of a dual Master’s Degree in MFT and Clinical Counseling Psychology. I have multiple accreditations in various professional fields as an instructor, and have written extensive training programs for national companies. Adding to this I have over two decades of experience with many different areas of kink. 

It is my philosophy that intimacy should be an embraced and sacred part of a couple’s lives, and not something that is shameful or taboo. I have learned a lot from many connections over the years but was still hungry for more, for a deeper satisfaction. I switched my main interest from rope bondage, to the dynamic therein. 

It is my goal with Knotty Binds to help you along your journey by providing tutorials, information on intimacy, an extensive exploration of the dynamics, and the culture of rope bondage/dynamics. Much of my work will include peer-reviewed empirical data giving you peace of mind and assurance that my work is the highest quality you can and should expect.
